The bulk container has three filling openings in the roof with a diameter of approx. 455 mm (1 3/4'). The distance between the openings (center to center) is 1.83 m (6'). Two discharge openings on the door side are partly equipped with short hoses for directing the bulk material. Alternatively, two discharge flaps are installed in the doors through which the container is emptied.

Flats consist of a heavy-duty floor construction with a steel frame and softwood floor as well as two either permanently installed or foldable end walls. The stability of the end walls allows load securing devices to be attached and several flats to be stacked on top of each other. Numerous lashing rings for load securing are installed in the longitudinal beams, the corner posts and the floor. The flats can be equipped with stanchions for the transport of certain loads.

The roof of the open top consists of removable bows and a removable tarpaulin. The hard top container has a removable steel roof. On both models, the upper door cross member can be swung out. These design features make loading and unloading the container much easier. In particular, loading and unloading using a crane or trolley can be carried out conveniently from above or through the doors when the roof is open and the upper door cross member is swung out. With the open top, it should be noted that the roof bows not only serve to hold the tarpaulin, but also to support the stability of the container. Flats are therefore better suited for extra-high loads.
The pallet-wide container was developed especially for the European market and short-sea transport. With an internal width of at least 2.42 m, two Euro pallets can be stored lengthways or three Euro pallets crossways next to each other.
